Good Bridging recently launched the $WOLFI coin. We’ve already outlined how the purpose of the project is to raise awareness for $GB and $AVAX, to provide funding for Good Bridging developments by sending a portion of every transaction to the GB DAO, and to establish it as a memecoin that the Avalanche community at-large can easily embrace. Post-launch, $WOLFI has been gaining momentum as the network’s memecoin of choice. Ever since we first discussed the creation of $WOLFI, we wanted to use rolling airdrops and engaging contests to increase awareness of the project and its mission. As such, today we announce our first official meme contest.

There’s a bit of confusion going on regarding the $WOLFI airdrop and we felt that it was important to clarify the details of the Good Bridging ecosystem’s first major addition. The $WOLFI airdrop was constructed in such a way as to mainly reward $GB holders and to adjust the reward size based on account holdings. Naturally, addresses with larger amounts of $GB were granted more $WOLFI. However, to avoid giving any individual account an outsized amount, we forced the distribution into a smoothed curve that fell exponentially with declining amounts of $GB.

At Good Bridging, we have made it our mission to support, educate, and reward the Avalanche Community. If you don’t know what we have been up to, please visit this article. We currently have an NFT platform under development, which we hope to have finished shortly, that will utilize the $GB token to mint a variety of NFTs. In addition, we have extensive longer-term plans beyond said platform. To accomplish all of these goals, we need to continuously grow the community and become even more self-sufficient than we are today.
